Venu has been establishing valuable brands, building high-performing teams and adding value to organizations for over 32 years. He was a member of the core team that grew Café Coffee Day (CCD) from inception to over 2,000 cafes and Xpress outlets, making it among India’s most beloved, exciting and recognized brands. As a Member of the Board, he led strategy, direction setting, IPO fundraising and investor relations, and business continuity. In his final role at CCD, he rebuilt the growth strategy, evaluated new business models and executed partnerships to sustain the company’s leadership position. Venu also has extensive experience in resolving business complexities and enhancing delivery at large public and private enterprises.

Venu has a master’s degree in Management Studies from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) and completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
