Prof Uma Maheshwari
Communication, Leadership and Team Building
Uma Maheshwari is an adjunct faculty who comes with a blended background in Mathematics, Computer Science and Psychology. She has more than 37 years of work experience out of which 20 years has been in the software and IT sector, working with leading MNC IT companies. For the past 17 years Uma is working in the area of OB (Organisation Behaviour) conducting trainings/ workshops for corporate both in the indoor and outbound methodologies.
As a trainer, Uma’s philosophy is to aid learning in such a manner that it brings about a true realisation of the underlying principles of behaviour and assimilation of a more adaptive form for satisfying and rewarding life experiences. She believes that it can be achieved by using theories of Psychology and applying them in the context of the current work life situations. Uma also exposes participants to adventure activities such as rock climbing, rappelling, river crossing, etc to teach the importance of communication, team work, responsibility and co-operation.
Uma’s training sessions are carefully designed to suit participant needs by creating a Fun-filled Experiential Learning Environment using Games, Activities, Case Studies, Role Plays and Group Work. She conducted several training programs and workshops for world-class corporate organizations in the areas of Communication, Leadership and Team Building, using both classroom and outbound methodologies for organizations, such as, Infosys, Congnizant Technologies, Oracle, Dr. Reddy Labs, Zensar, CtrlS, etc.
