Dr BL Maheshwari championed excellence in organization development, leadership and positive change throughout his career. He was passionate about building strong, resilient, adaptable and successful companies through expert advisory, research and training services.
Believing that focused professional work would be more impactful in a small, specialized institution, Dr Maheshwari set up COD as an independent public non-profit with no government or corporate affiliations.

Creativity and energy flourish on 4 cool, tranquil, green acres in the heart of Hyderabad’s technology district. Inaugurated in 1990 by then Indian President Mr R Venkataraman, the COD campus boasts a vast library with books, training videos, and academic and industry journals; 3 state-of-the-art conference rooms; offices and workrooms; executive residences and other facilities to host visiting executives, researchers, and guests.
