Mr. I. S. Rao, who has retired as Assistant General Manager (Transaction Banking) in State Bank of India. Before joining SBI, he worked for one year as Probationary Officer in Syndicate Bank.
Mr. Rao has over 35 years of experience in banking operations, strategy, policy implementation and policy making. His experience includes 6 years in HR Policy making and monitoring of policy implementation Apart from this, he had a tenure of 9 years as a Faculty Member in State Bank Staff College, Hyderabad wherein he taught subjects related to human resources, organization behaviour and organization development etc. Other areas of his expertise are retail, corporate and digital Banking. He worked in Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka states.
