Prof A B Prasad

Mr Prasad is a Science Graduate with a CAIIB and an Executive MBA in HRM. He is presently an Advisor at OTI, Jakarta, Indonesia, where he has conducted 50 workshops for the officers of Bank Mandiri (Indonesia), on resource management and bank branch management.

With over 35 years of an eventful professional life, Professor Prasad has been a Senior Faculty at NIIT – IFBI (Institute for Finance Banking and Insurance Training). His training experience consists of facilitating sessions on all aspects of banking, marketing, financial planning and personality development in the

programs of PGDBO and PGDBFP, besides working as academic coordinator. Prior to that he has been a General Manager in the Talent Transformation department of Reliance Industries Ltd.

Mr Prasad has been associated with the State Bank of India in the capacities of Deputy General Manager and Senior Faculty for Organizational Behavior at State Bank Staff College, Hyderabad.

When it comes to hands-on knowledge about diverse management styles pertaining to specific regional frameworks, Mr Prasad has no equal. He has handled several important assignments in SBI including Regional Manager at Visakhapatnam and AGM (Branch Head) of Secunderabad Branch, AGM (Computers Communications) at Hyderabad and Faculty State Bank Staff College and State Bank Institute of Rural Development. Besides, he holds the distinct merit of being the only Senior Executive in State Bank of India who has experience as Training Manager for 13 years, having designed Training Programs for Senior Executives on Transformational Leadership and other areas of Organizational Behaviour.

He has prepared instructional material for several programs for Direct Recruit Officers and Officers from the ranks and facilitated Training Programs for the Bankers at Cairo in Egypt. Over and above that, he is an expert in Agri-Banking projects.

Mr Prasad’s unique counseling, coaching and mentoring style is aimed at helping participants understand the complex ecosystem of the financial world and creating their own roadmap to achieve professional success by skill identification and optimization.

He has published more than 15 articles on Training and Organizational Behaviour on

financing various agricultural projects and presented several papers in national and international seminars.
